The Paediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus Service at the Singapore National Eye Centre comprises a team of five paediatric eye specialists (paediatric ophthalmologists), five orthoptists as well as various other paramedical staff. To date, our specialists have trained three local and seven foreign eye specialists in the subspecialty of paediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus.

Oculoplastic & Aesthetic Eyeplastic
The Oculoplastic Service also known as Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Service, is a subspecialty service of Ophthalmology that manages abnormalities of the eyelids, lacrimal (tear) system and the orbit (structures around the eye). The Service comprises a team of seven oculoplastic specialists. To date, our specialists have trained eight foreign eye specialists in the subspecialty of oculoplastic surgery.

The ophthalmic pathology service is a special collaborative effort between the Singapore National Eye Centre and the Histopathology and Cytology Sections of the Department of Pathology at the Singapore General Hospital (SGH). It comprises an ophthalmology specialist with training in the field of ophthalmic pathology and pathologists with special interest in ophthalmology, who work closely together to diagnose specialized surgical specimens removed from the eye.
